Swathi is a Television presenter and actor. Her nickname and fame cam from television show Colours telecast on Telugu language station MAA TV in Andhra Pradesh, India. After a few movies in supporting role, she made her debut in leading role in Tamil film Subramaniyapuram and Telugu film Ashta Chamma. Her role as Lavanya in Ashta Chamma received critical acclaim and she won the Filmfare Award and Nandi Award for Best Actress.
